by · April 6, 2017

Youtube has launched its new service named “Youtube TV”. Under this service, user can live-stream traditional TV channels like ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC. For this service user has to pay $35 per month. Adding to this service, 6 accounts per household can use this subscription in one payment($35 per month. This means 6 family members can enjoy this service under one account.

Under this service users can save thier favorite shows to watch back at a later time. This is made possible by its cloud-based DVR services. Further user can store as many shows as he/she wants as there is no storage space issues.

Target Audience:
Mostly College students are the main target as college students no longer wants to sit in front of television set. So now they can enjoy live TV shows on Youtube TV.

Sign-up procedure:
For signing up, log on to tv.youtube.com. Here currently it shows a “sign up for more information” page, but it is expected that this will sooner change to an actual sign up process.

Service availability:
Youtube TV service is available in some of US states(largest metro areas) such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago and Philadelphia. Unfortunately for us it is not available in India.
